Tapete de Corpus Christi

Pela primeira vez, fieis da Paróquia de Santa Maria Madalena comemoraram a data de Corpus Christi, nesta quinta-feira (15.06),  montando um tapete de serragem na Rua Girassol (foto).

Com cerca de 50 metros, em frente à igreja, o tapete foi feito por mais de 20 paroquianos que trabalharam a noite toda para que ele ficasse pronto logo ao amanhecer.

Antigamente essa decoração era feita dentro das dependências da paróquia. Este ano, porém, o novo pároco, Padre Donizete, sugeriu que o trabalho fosse feito na rua.
