A Prefeitura Regional de Pinheiros/Vila Madalena vai apresentar nos próximos dias uma proposta para tentar conciliar interesses de moradores e organizadores do Projeto Ruas Abertas na Rua Medeiros de Albuquerque.

Foi o que ficou decidido na audiência pública sobre o tema realizada neste domingo (07.05) no auditório da Prefeitura Regional, que ficou lotado com a presença de participantes de ambos os lados.

Moradores defenderam o Ruas Abertas (promovidos nos domingos e feriados), mas propuseram que ele seja realizado em outro local, não na Medeiros de Albuquerque, pois reclamam do barulho e do fechamento da via.

Cássio Calazans, presidente da Sociedade Amigos de Vila Madalena (Savima), sugere a mudança do evento para Praça Victor Civita.

“Seria um local ideal, pois praticamente não há residencias em volta, só prédios comerciais, e a praça tem toda a infraestrutura necessária para receber o público”, afirmou.

Organizadores do projeto, porém, defendem que ele continue no mesmo lugar, como justifica o Professor Dirceu Dias, conselheiro do Ruas Abertas da Medeiros, onde reside há mais de 30 anos:

Segundo ele, “se houve excessos no passado, o que se procura hoje é adequar a situação para um espaço de convivência no qual todos possamos usufruir. Além do que o Ruas Abertas é um fator indutivo na geração de empregos e manutenção de micro-negócios locais”.
