O trecho recuperado fica entre as ruas Senador César Lacerda Vergueiro e Fradique Coutinho, que, anteriormente asfaltado, ganhou agora degraus e plantas nos seus 220 metros mais íngremes.
Moradores da Vila cuidam da travessa, mas reclamam das pichações e do roubo de plantas.
“A linda muda de chapéu-chinês foi roubada no mesmo dia em que foi plantada”, lamenta Eiko Sugiyama, bióloga e uma das cuidadoras do local.
