MP pode processar Prefeitura e blocos por Carnaval de Rua

O promotor Cesar Ricardo Martins, do Ministério Público de São Paulo, afirmou nesta sexta-feira (23.06) que a Prefeitura e os blocos podem ser responsabilizados por danos causados durante o Carnaval de Rua, principalmente na Vila Madalena.

Segundo ele, está sendo realizada uma perícia para avaliar e mensurar, em termos financeiros, a destruição causada por foliões nos últimos três carnavais, e que depois decidirá se entrará com uma ação de danos morais coletivos difusos contra a Prefeitura.

Adiantou também que uma das ideias do MP é exigir que os blocos constituam uma pessoa jurídica, com representante responsável ou no estilo de associação, para que eventuais danos possam ser objeto de reparação.

César Martins disse ainda que a Prefeitura tem de remodelar o planejamento de eventos que realiza na Vila Madalena e em Pinheiros, delimitando ainda mais a quantidade de pessoas com acesso às ruas destes bairros.

Detalhes do Carnaval de 2018 começarão a ser discutidos entre o Ministério Público, a Prefeitura e representantes da Vila Madalena em uma reunião marcada para Agosto.
